For many creatives, all roads lead back to film where the creative disciplines play together.
These days, TV seems to be stealing the thunder of movies - and with good reason. Yet, despite the streaming services ushering in a golden age of television, nothing can change your life in two hours (or less) like a great movie.
My return to the world of film has been a circuitous route. When I first moved to LA, I began by working as a Wardrobe Assistant and PA on film sets. Within a few years, I had gravitated toward writing for editorials and brands before shifting back toward scriptwriting for commercial and TV projects. Now I am actively seeking and creating opportunities within the world of filmmaking.
DEVELOPMENT
VIA
ADAPTATIONS
When the ownership of a piece of legacy IP changed hands a few years back, I was brought in to pitch a film adaptation. The following is the initial adaptation deck I put together.
Based on several factors including the recommendation in this deck, the production company decided to opt for a TV series currently in development.

PRODUCING
I am currently producing a short film entitled Cascarrabias, to be filmed on location in El Paso, TX in Fall 2024.
A personal story of growing up on the borderlands, this film explores the danger of putting expectations over family and one son’s struggle to make amends with his ailing father before it’s too late.
With a tight-knit and talented young team of filmmakers, we will be shooting this on 16mm film to create a unique and startling work of independent cinema.
My role as Producer involves script and story editing, assembling the crew, casting actors, raising funds, and overseeing creative decisions, along with all the functions of a Line Producer.
