Before I wrote scripts, I wrote songs.
I licensed music to ABC, MTV, and Freeform, as well as commercials, movies, and documentary films. Occasionally, I’d write and produce music for brands, including a TikTok for Cacharel that topped 900 million impressions.
My first single snagged nearly 4 million plays on Spotify.
Subsequent works were featured on Kistune’s America 4, Good Day LA, Berlin radio, Billboard, Pigeons and Planes, NOISEY, All Things Go, and Huff Po.
But that was another life.
The reason I bring it up is because...
It’s all part of my love of making something out of nothing. It could be a drum beat or a lyric. An entire symphony of synthesizers. Or maybe just a funny noise I can’t stop thinking about that is begging to be voiced.
Along the way, I produced and directed some music videos. You can see for yourself, they’re super low budge. In fact, music videos are almost always a money-losing proposition for an indie band. BUT…we did have fun making them.
